    Oct: 12, 1932. Visited Crown Point w. A.B. looked at the Cotman drawings and remained to luncheon afterwards -
    ‘A bound volume’ - ‘Drawings by Cotman by Lemon etc." from Mrs King’s Collection - contains
    (1) a good charcoal head and shoulders of a working man - ‘M.E. Cotman June 3/34'
    (2) Drawing on bound paper of the clump of trees and rails (like R.H.K’s) looks all right-9 ¼ x 13 ¾ (? Geldart - A.B.)
    (3) Study of tree trunks, wh[ich] A.B attributes to Geldart.
    **(4) St Benet’s Abbey (? wrong way round) on brown paper heightened with pipe clay - ‘J.S. Cotman’ 6½ x13¾
    (5) ‘Postwick Pond Nov: 11.1838’. pencil, looks like J.J.
    (6) St Benet’s Mill from land side, char: & wte.on blue paper. ‘J.S. Cotman’ 8½ x 14
    *(7) Ship on the Cliffs - brown paper (like R.H.K’s drawings) signed ‘M.E.C’
    (8) ’2388 Cotman’ much rubbed drawing [copy], a cottage with Norman details - might be J.S.C. 10 x 7½
    (9) A much rubbed but fine drawing on brown paper of a group of ships- ‘J.S. Cotman’-9 x 11
