I had access to certain diaries of Dr T. Monro & his sons, but I do not remember any special mention in them of J. Sell Cotman.

As you are doubtless aware a list is given in Redgrave's "Water Colour Paintings of England" of the famous people who used to assemble at Monro's, but the ones I have mentioned are the only men who I thought could certainly be considered as students.
