June 3rd, 1929.Dear Sir,
In answer to your letter for which I thank you, I am extremely sorry that I can give you really no information re John Sell Cotman's associations with my great grandfather Dr Thomas Monro. Though of course I remember the name & have a strong impression of hearing it in connection with him.
I can find no record of his having visited the house in Adelphi Terrace or Fetcham.
Perhaps the enclosed list of names might be able to give you information if you apply to them.
