    My dear Jack
You see we are all alive, and have read your Letter this day & recd those to be posted, which shall be so, on Monday. George Cotman is here. His Sister has written to say she will be with us on Tuesday.
I firmly believe Your Brother has this said appointed said appointment dead, notwithstanding Nothing that is not done can be said to be certain. But in all human probability he has it, as his testimonials are magnificent and his Drawing excellent and ample. – if he does get, it you must come up, if it is only to drink good health and long life and happiness to the Thane of Milk and Honey, if you are to go down again the next moment, which I trust to you for your not doing so our excellent and beloved Brother of our perils and and Hunting up with you, or our joy cannot be complete.
The welcome he may expect he must trust to his own judgment and opinion of his affectionate and grateful Brother
    John Sell
By the time you may visit us London will be hardly passable, therefore a hazardous trip. – for every stone of it will have been turned up - - - his task will be a most arduous one. But let him but get it and the Pounds, Shillings and pence will make that part a nothing - - for father and Son are here hand in Hand. Send up a fine Turkey, which I will pay you for, let Nunky Indicative Mood present Tense be the Caterer as on such points he is no Chicken, and knows whats’ what.
Love from all and to all
The blaze has been all on Miles’ Side - - since my return, - and the poor Bishop Blaize almost, Tho but, not forgotten.
