    May 25 1934- visited Sotheby’s- Lot 37- 2 framed drawings belonging to HM Davidson [illegible 1 word] (friend of [illegible 1 word])
    (1) pencil drawing of w. [illegible 4 words], same size as etching- very stiff and ‘[illegible 1 word]-esque’ (as P.O wrote)
    (2) the [illegible 2 words], in sepia- also sketched- a bit stiff- but good
    Lot 42 contains 3 sheets of details of [caps] etc at St Georges de Boscherville and an unsigned very large pencil drawing of the brass of Adam de Walsoken and his wife at St Margaret’s Church Lynn
