    *(17) Figures by a pond - ‘J.S. Cotman 1809-' 8½ x 6½. Rough ribbed paper, strong, robust.
    *(18) Harlech Castle (?) A composition reminiscent of Sketching Society, big, competent. C 1808-10. 13 x 20½.
    ***(19) THE MARL PIT- c1807-9- 11½ x 10.
    ***(20) The Devil’s Elbow- (? Hell Chaldron) Rokeby, certainly not done on spot, very stylistic, Japanese, Towne. 17¾ x 13¾.
    **(21) Choric dance. White figures: temple and trees behind. Reckett's blue sky, c 1839, unfinished. 13¼ x 18.
