In 1775 there was also a James Norton, Bookseller,
stationer etc. at 52, Wine Street until 1798 when he
removed to Corn Street. This firm changed to John
Norton in 1821 and continued until 1846.
A Peter Norton was church warden of St. Peter's Church, Bristol in 1768.
