    for many years past, largely because of your share in it. It gives me immense enjoyment— your articles I mean. You crowded it with facts, yet [the] [illegible 1 word] a [illegible 1 word], its whole agglomeration was clear as day-light, + gave me exceeding pleasure. Illustrations fascinating.
    I fear to ask you over because I have nothing new to show, I know how busily occupied you are. But I shall try one day to persuade you— I am waiting in high hopes of seeing sometime your abounding treasures. But there again I fear to bother you.
    Love to the girls.
    Yours

    {letter to Kitson from Finberg}

    My dear Kitson,

    Here is my note of the unpublished entry in Farington's diary of which we were speaking today:
    'Sunday 15 December 1799. Dined with Dr. Monro, Hoppnes and Daniell there. Dr. M is bringing forward another young man who come from Norwich.'
    I find I was wrong about Mr Budgett's Turner. It was one of Ruskin's drawings. My memory is evidently going.

    Yours sincerely
    A. J. Finberg

    Sydney D. Kitson Esq.

    The 'Daniell' was Thomas D. , R. A
