    February 27th 1835
    Hampstead
    …….. I am rather troubled at your want of news of or from Mr Cotman, fearing the poor man, who looked very sadly when we last saw him, may [[be]] again be ill.
    I have written to his daughter begging that, if his father is unable to go to Norfolk at present, she will return us the letters which we sent by him.
