Lady Palgrave (Elizabeth Turner) to Dawson Turner

    July 10 1835

    Hampstead

……. Poor Walter Cotman will be thankful to you for any help. He is, his sister says, really ill with regret at being yet a burthen to his father, who looks miserably.
He came to tea on Thursday evening and we regretted to find that he plans giving himself no holiday this vacation, which both his health & spirits evidently require.
