Addressed to J. J. Cotman, Esq.

    Dear Jack
All goes on well; If Thirtle’s drawings are not sent, pray detain them until you have gotten all the letters you can. I shall not want them till the 26th of Decr and then all can come at once. If you shall not use those drawings (unfinished) of mine, yours, Ann’s and others you might send them as I shall want all I can get if I am chosen, 600 boys being already entered in the School books and all to draw.

Ask Harry for my song book!!

    Uncle Edmund’s drawing arrived safe.

All testimonials must be delivered on the 30 of Decr therefore let me have them by the 26th as I must arrange them and make a list. I think copy them before I send them.

    Give my love to all
    and believe me
    Your affectionate
    Brother
    Miles Edmund Cotman.

X Give Mr. Morgan the note X shew him Father’s letter also.
I have had letters from the Ladies B & D but not one from C.
