    Miles Edmund gives news of the burial of Mr Sacker in London. He asks John Joseph to have some cards made for him for when he comes to London. Ann thanks her father for her frock.

    Addressed to Mr. J. J. Cotman.

    Mr. Sacker is to be buried to-morrow, Sunday at St Helens Church, Bishopsgate St. His watch is for William. Mrs. Sacker is rather better. The crown is given.

    The pieces of rag wrapping the shirts are for color rags – or – what you like.
    Oh. John get engraved for me a card plate by the time I come up, one like Fathers. I have enclosed the sized card I like.

    My dear Papa,
    I have not now time to write, but, had I the time, I have nothing to tell you, so you must wait ’till another time. The frock I like exceedingly, and am much obliged to you my dear Papa for it. Give my kind love to John and accept the same yourself, believe me ever to remain my dear Papa
