entirely out of the way of hearing it that it is impossible. I spent the greater part of yesterday even[in]g (Friday) with Daniel who is much pleased at Blore’s decision about the Castle. he is quite full of it, he is so joyous about it. And as he had not quite (as he imagined) explained the subject to me clearly, when I bid him good night he walked for half an hour up and down the gentleman’s walk hugging me by the arms as tight as a bear – until at last I was obliged to say I wanted to call in London St. when he begged pardon for detaining me and wished me good night. I told Dixon how polite and kind he was some time back and he said (as I at first thought) he wants something or to learn something, but that something has not yet transpired, and I think I may thank Mrs. Chapman for all kindnesses I receive from him, for having her school. I have now little room left, having apparently filled this sheet with nothing or many nothings merely to make it full, but I will find room to say I do not either expect or wish you to make your letters fuller only let them come oftener, that you can do I can do the other.
I have only four more lessons to give As to riding Why John I believeI – am – floored. - The horse not yet having made its appearance, at which I have been seriously
