    Sept: 24, 1834.
To P. Thompson Esq. 3 Osnaburgh Place, New Road.

    Dear Sir,
I received your note of yesterday to which I send you an immediate reply, though the information is little more than what you already had.

    (3) D[itt]o D[itt]o 50

    346.
I have not suited myself with a House yet. I find it a more difficult thing to do than I expected. The one you offer I am afraid is too small, but tomorrow or next day I will call and look at it at all events.
I am obliged to you for your offer respecting fitting up any House I may take.
    Your ob[edien]t humble S[er]v[an]t
    J. S. Cotman.

    Sept 24, 1834.

    P. Thompson had the Bazaar Rooms at Norwich. He wanted to buy Cotman’s coppers, but his offer fell thro’ because it was not thought he w[oul]d do them justice in the printing – see J. S. C’s letter to D[awson] T[urner] Dec: 25, 1835, and Bohn’s letter to D[awson] T[urner] Dec: 29, 1835.
