Dear Sir,
I have delayed answering your Letter longer than I should have done under the idea of sending you Proofs of the Plates before mentioned, which I find still on hand, and will be so for some days yet to wait longer would be to lose probably the benefit of your kind offer - Which I beg leave to thank you for, as well as for your very kind remembrance of my works in the body of yours in Ely. I am now going on with a quarto work of 100 Plates, Norfolk - Which I shall be glad to show you, Well knowing your love for such things.
I am dear Sir
Your very obliged & obedient. Servant.

I know no other name that can be given to these doorways, - unless indeed, - they may be called, - the Prior's, - and Monks doorways, - Which I shall leave entirely with you to settle for me as the titles of the Plates will not be given till after I have the pleasure of laying them before you.
