Write to me, Mr. J. S. Cotman at Rev'd Jas. Bulwer's, No.4 Old Burlington Street, London.
My drawings and the remainder of my testimonials will be left with the Secretary this day. Oh! by the bye, Edmund, did you call on Mr. Wright and tell him I am engaged in London on particular business - a stress on business - and that I left Norwich circumstances so hurried that I forgot altogether to send a note to the Miss Wright to prevent their coming for their Lessons.

Should I learn when the election will come on I will tell you. Should it be a short stay in London till it's over; as in the event of my being appointed my appearance before the Principal of the College will be required. Everything up to the present moment goes well. You were not forgotten yesterday (Christmas Day). Mr. Bulwer, Friends and Self drank to all absent Friends. God Almighty bless you all - Good Night.
    Yrs. affectionately,
    J. S. Cotman.

I am just returned from College and have left all my Testimonials. I met Sir Fras. on my way to report progress and told him I think I can get at Sir M. A. Shee, F.R.A. Calcott, R.A. - perhaps J. M. W. Turner, R.A. through Mr. Phillips. He advised me to do so. Sir Fras. was going to call on Mr Mackland, and is to dine with Sir Robt. Inglis on Wednesday. I may return on Monday Night unless I stop by advice over the Wednesday to hear what Sir Robt. says.

Send this by Coach to D. Turner Esqre. the day you receive it, (Friday).
Once more God bless you all. I can't be more
