Addressed to Mr Cotman St Martin's Palais Plain.
    June 23 - 1827.

    My dear Mr. Cotman,

I wish to introduce to you Mr Ommassy and his Son, in consequence of the young Gentlemans desire to receive some instruction in drawing and as he has but a short time to devote to the acquirement of this elegant accomplishment, he wishes to take frequent lessons, and I have assured him that you would adopt that mode of instruction, which will the most rapidly enable him to have clear ideas of the rules of perspective. Mr Ommassy is shortly about to leave this country for India, where he is particularly desiring to make drawings and take sketches, and I feel assured, that you will give him every facility for this purpose.

I beg you will remember me to Mrs Cotman, who is I hope at this time in better health, and believe me sincerely yours
    Hannah Brightwen.
