health has been a little tried during his journey and he is somewhat shrunk - but he has been extremely gratified by his excursion, by almost every thing he has seen in Italy, and only regretted that his time was so short. I ought to add that he regretted being alone, and determined, should he ever again visit Italy, not to go unaccompanied by some of his family.
I had hoped, my dear Sir, as you know I expressed, to have the pleasure of seeing you and Edmund at our house sometime during the holidays. I shall however be disappointed - for I have heard rather a poor account of Mrs Palgrave and I must leave Yarmouth next Monday for London, where I shall probably spend a month or 6 weeks.
I hope that Mrs Cotman's health continues to improve I beg offer my kind rememberances to her, and with good wishes to yrself & family, I remain, my dear Sir Yr sincere friend Ms Turner.

Will you be so kind, my dr Sir, to send the accompanyying note to Miss Hancock.
