Letter from Paul Oppé to Sydney Kitson.

Continuation of letter from Oppé to Kitson describing the unfortunate circumstances leading to a lack of an umbrella, and feelings of ennui. An apparently exclusive interest in collecting drawings is the symptom of or inspiration for this feeling.

I came out without an umbrella this morning + my office umbrella ( which was left [chez vous] in place of mine two of three visits back) has completely foundered. Consequently the county will have the rain it needs this afternoon. I wish that I could think that it [illegible 1 word] [bring] [illegible 1 word to me. I am feeling very jaded I seem to have no other interest but that of drawings- a most unsatisfactory condition. It would be alright if one made them oneself- but collecting!
Norman is back; after an hour or so at Venice + 15 minutes at Bergamo.

    Yours ever Paul Oppé
