kindly leant us a
Sept 17 1933
Went to Bush Hall. Geoffrey Barker + his wife there. He kindly lent us a fine sepia of [Mortain] to have photographed. Rummaged about in a box of old family letters from the attic and found 2 priceless J. S. C letters—both to D.T— Castle [acre] may 1804 + [Croyland], aug 1804 ! also 3 of the end of 1833— He kindly allowed me to take a large bundle of family letters to sort this— understanding letter from the family in Normandy, 1818, to D. T
