    Dear Sydney,
    Here you are. They have been taken by one Anscombe I think the name is, at Jarrolds, and I hope you will think they have been well done. They show all the defects as well as the virtues so I suppose for purposes of record they are what you want. I expect you took the measurements of them when you were here, but in case you didn’t I will, on request, send them along or verify what you wrote yourself.
    Master Holmes the Lord Mayor has had a catalogue of his stuff printed and these are one or two good things
