    Dear Kitson
Many thanks for letter. You have only thanked me once - let it go at that and happy New Year any way.
I can't find my Family Tree any where tho I know I have it & more than one of it. My aunt (Helen Isabella) traced our ancestors back oh long before William the Bastard - almost to Adam. There was - is - about 4 in Chancery waiting for a Cotman claimant - she toiled for 12 mo[nth]s searching Registers etc. But Chancery still has it.
I would like the enclosed back & is it in J. J. own writing.
Miles Edmund had two daughters poor little undersized spinsters. Cos Fanny & Cos Julia. Oddities. Julia died in Brighton workhouse. I took her there - a quaint if sad story - she thought I was Eric Geddes. I paid the Bill & everyone very satisfied.
