    \18. An enormous w.c. (2'.0" x 3'.0") From the Cavalry Barracks "J. J. Cotman. Oct: 1867." (N[orth] view of Norwich Cathedral.)
    **(19) An unfinished landscape (1.6 x 2.8) with trees, river & bridge. Signed, 'Cotman', much pencil, lovely colour.
    (20) A mansion in a wooded park. (1.3 x 2.3) by J. J. C.
    (21) A view with Welsh slated houses, gravel pit, & wooded hills. ? lower part of Mousehold. (1.5½ x 2.9.) hard, but competent. "J. J. Cotman 1872."
    (22) An oil, on board, (10½ x 13½.) of a seascape with lighthouse in front of a fort (?), label on back "J. S. Cotman New Brighton Lighthouse, b[ough]t at Fred Cotman's sale, Preston, March 1910, 4.4.0. from Mr Hargreave's collection." very doubtful.
    **(23) An oil. Dutch boat with 'DORT' on yellow sail, at low water in Yar[mouth] river (?) much pencuk thin paint, on canvas (14 x 18), ?1825, lovely colour
    *(24) An Oil. Upright landscape (11½ x 7¾.) Clump of trees l. white cottage in distance. on board. paint cracked.
    ** On reverse "Landscape with a mill." (8 x 12) fine sky, c 1825 (?)
    (25) A book of Drawings & etchings by J. S. Cotman. Charles Nichol's (1814) book plate by J. S. C. 1st drawing a lady profile l. pencil (?) Mrs J. S. C. Some sketches, some drawing opies, & some etchings.
