    *** (3) A Wooded Cliff. (cf. Miss Littlewood’s watercolour) black chalk slightly washed with brush. 9 ¾ x 6 ¼.
    *(4) Welsh Mountain top. Pencil and monochrome wash. C 1802. 9 ¼ x 13 ¼. Girtin like pencil work.

    A Large Volume. "Sketches by Cotman."
    *(1) A design of musical instruments, organ, piano, guitar, harp, lyre & music m.s. very good drawing. ANN COTMAN in capitals middle bottom. A sort of glorified book-plate for his daughter.
    (2) Monument at north end of North Creach Church, Norfolk. 1816 J.S Cotman 1970. 10 ½ x 9.
    **(3) The Mill at Eye, Suffolk. J.S. Cotman. Rounded top pencil, grey wash and high lights scraped. 8 ¼ x 11 ½.
    (4) Sketch for Crosby Hall. ‘J.S Cotman’. Brown paper, and colour notes. 11 ¼ x 11 ¾. Pencil and pipe clay.
    (5) ‘2726 Colnbrookdale J S. Cotman’, drawing copy, a mill stone.
