    (11) Pencil and watercolour portrait of Edmund Cotman. Early c. 1806-7. Very good. 13 x10. Note on mount “J.R bought this from John Challis, Post Office St Norwich in 1883. The Challis family was related to the Cotmans”.
    (12) The Brigand. ‘Sk: Society’ composition, pencil and indian ink 12½ x 8¾. Bought by J. R from Spelman’s Sale in 1880, signed ‘J.S Cotman’. C 1804-5
