you would care to put one or two of your 1800 drawings alongside them – the owner I may say is quite agreeable. These drawings of cottages in a white and grey, and faint blue, tone, like one or two early Welsh studies, are not signed, but knowing as we do Cotman's connexions with Bristol in 1800 they have to be judged carefully.
I expect to be away most of next week, and possibly on Thursday this week, but if you cared to drop a card or ring Whitehall 7618 if you are at your club we might fix a meeting. Anyhow I will try to hold the drawings till you can see them.
