taking subscriptions for Privateers. No, Mr C. J. Orde, the present senior local Director at Yarmouth Bank did not mention any payment to Cotman when he looked through Dawson Turner’s a[ccount] for the name of Crome, but he would have done had he seen it, I think. Would you like to ask him?
Kaye was here the other day to look at the Pendlebury Houghton portrait by Cotman we have in the History of the Octagon Chapel.
