Thompson for £32. I believe that Sotheby's positively omit to catalogue such drawings in order to attract the groundlings.
I don't feel certain that either your Highland subject or mine is a Sketching Club drawing, because of the size. But I do feel pretty sure that your drawing is by the Cotman master of the Ancient Castle & mine by the Girtin master of the same in Dr Percy's series, now mine so far as concerns these two drawings.
The R &[?] Fisher Falaise was amateur about [19 - crossed out] 1895[.] Adding to the wasted life!
Sorry that you prefer Munnings to Shoosmith. But I went to the Academy on Saturday as part of my Victorian entertainment!
