    29 Southtown, Gt.Yarmouth, 4 November 1930.

    Dear Mr. Kitson,
I am afraid I can give you little or no help as to the
relationship between Matthew and John Keymer.
Matthew Keymer joined the Friendly Society in Decr. 1790.
and died in 1816 (June), leaving a widow and three children.
John Keymer started as a printer here about 1800, and died
about 1817, a year after Matthew Keymer. It seems likely
they were brothers, a reference to the Yarmouth Parish
    Registers might help.
Should I at any time come across any information about John
Sell Cotman during his stay in Yarmouth, he lived about 50
doors from this house., I will communicate with you.
    Yours faithfully,
    R. H. Teasdel

    Sydney J. Kitson, Esq. M.A. F.S.A.
P.S. I return the sketch by J.S.C. with thanks. RHT.

Oct: 28. 1930. Met P. Oppé at the Leeds Art Gallery.
He thought the 'Entrance to Falaise' was a very bad
copy. We went on to Robert Kitson's at Stonegates.
He thought the gt. majority of the pencil drawings were
by J.S.C. & good. He was not impressed by the 'Turnip
Stealers', which I liked better than ever. He loved the
Sepia 'interior of a chapel at the Abbey aux Hommes'.
& was much intrigued by the 'Red Cloak'. He thought the
    'unattributed' was by J.S.C.
