I also visited the Print Room at the B.M. where
is a comprehensive collection of engravings from
    S. Bourdon's pictures. 2 were engraved
    by Boydell.
    (1) "Jacob burying Laban's images". engraved
by R. Earlman. 1785 (picture at Houghton)
    (2) "Peter & John tending the Sick", engraved by
    J. Chambers 1768. (Duke of Devonshire's collection)
There did not seem to be any from which J.S.C.
had directly cribbed, but he doubtless got his
    horizon[t]al topped distant buildings from
    Bourdon. (very fond of
    {sketch} pyramids.)
