Octangular, or circular, tower, with a group of 3
people in the centre. 16 1/2 x 12 1/2.

(1) 'Sketch from nature near Irstead'. (written on back)
Blk. Chlk. & chinese white on grey paper. A
bull-dog in the foreground: an unconnected
sketch of a man seated (in trees top r.) Late 1841.
(2) The Annunciation, after Claude. Pencil,
chalk & yellow wash Cattle driven past a
temple. Cautiously labelled 'Norwich School' by B.M.
but almost certainly J.S.C. 7 1/2 x 10 1/2.
(3)* Group of trees on a river, boat beyond.
Chk. on grey paper & little white. 6 1/4 x 8 3/4.
(4)** "The Highway" - (A.B's name) Very powerful
Charcoal, white & india ink wash. Sky damaged - 7 x 10 3/4.
(5)* "Trees in Rokeby Park, York. Feb 24. 1827."
A clump of trees, with sheep, on brown paper
touched with white. 12 1/2 x 9 3/4.
(6) "Fording the Stream" (A.B.) on brown paper
heightened with white. 12 x 9 1/4.
