    This is a superb drawing, large in scale, perfectly balanced, admirable in tone. Shows supreme confidence & delight - in the first flight of JSC drawings.
    (7) Sept 27, '30. My admiration somewhat modified — it belongs to the immature era.
    10. I think 1803. He has not quite yet found himself.
