(1) A pencil study of trees, inscribed ‘Larch’ - ‘Brandsby, July 21, 1805’ is in the British Museum (293)
(2) Hesleyside, Northumberland, was the seat of William John Charlton, born 1784. He succeeded his father W[illia]m Charlton in 1797, & married in 1809 Francis Cholmeley’s sister, Katherine Henrietta.
(3) Robert Selby of Biddlestone, Northumberland, married, in 1793, Teresa, sister of the 15th Earl of Shrewsbury, & had 2 sons & 1 daughter.
* A watercolour drawing, 13¼ x 9, inscribed on the drawing “July 16, 1805”, & on the back of the mount, “Brandsby”, is in the coll[ectio]n of S.D.K. (no. 772.) bought at sale of Sutton Palmer’s remaining works, Christie, Dec. 11, 1933.
