(m) two pencil sketches for my cavern under Chateau Gaillard. The r half placed at the top (in error) & inscribed 'July 24' colour notes - squared - 9 x 10 - 9 1/2 x 10 1/4.
(n) The dredger (cf my pencil sketches) 'J. J. Cotman' charcoal on brown paper - 9 3/4 x 10 3/4.
o) Pencil drawing of a horse turned towards a cart 'J. J. Cotman 1836 very poor.
Barges with sails - off Custom House (?) 'June 23. 1831.' in M.E.C. writing but looks like J.S.C's drawing - pencil 3 1/2 x 2 1/4.
(p) A house. drawing copy. pencil. poor. 'M.E. Cotman Kings Coll[ege] 1848'
(q) 'Ruins of the Chateau [[of]] de Robert le Diable. M.E. Cotman 1828 ret.d 1852.' poor drawing copy but v[er]y 'Cotmany'. pencil.
(r) A portrait full length of a young man in cap in long gown (dome of St. Paul's or of Univ. Coll: behind) charcoal white + pink on brown paper - ' J. S. Cotman' - 19 x 12. has merits c1835-40-

a) a charcoal head & shoulders of a young fisherman - on brown paper - '2388. Cotman.' might be J.S.C. 10 x 8 1/2

(a) "Cotman 2835. Framlingham Castle Suffolk." pencil on cream paper. top rounded. salient points pricked. ?? if by J.S.C. 8x12.
(b) "Fishing House on Lake Ure. J.J. Cotman". pencil on cream paper. Evidently a copy of a nice J.S.C composition. top rounded - 14 x 10 1/2.
