    Dear Kitson,
    Mr Foster wrote to me about the collection of drawings and engravings and I replied to him. I am sorry to say that at present they are all inaccessible and stored and that until we have moved the things into the new house I am afraid I cannot get them out. The majority were turned, I think, into a history of Somersetshire and the books are all carefully put away. I can well understand your anxiety to see them as you are writing a book, and under different circumstances should have been delighted to let you have
