    Letter from Agnes Bulwer to Kitson regarding purchase of "Norwich Cathedral", thanking for their visit to him, and general chat about the weather

    niche, the draped rug on the chest, the smaller chest near the doorway. I am no connoisseur but J.S.C. stares at one throughout that whole sketch, I honestly say that I have not been educated to the discerning of artists' styles etc. but when I think of the W.M.s in this house & the J.S.C.s I have the audacity to suggest that this is not from the brush or brain of W.M but is a Cotman. I may be entirely mistaken & ignorant, but it staggers me all together.
    Moore-Turner spent Tuesday p.m. here looking over our possessions & left congratulating us on our watercolours

    generally and individually which was very nice of him. He is doing things for us & we for him.
    The illustrated catalogue will reach you in a day or two; the U. Browning volume I am keeping as Dora has been reading it + now I am taking it along to the Luptons whither I go tomorrow.
    We greatly enjoyed [[ha]] our hours with you & yours & the lovely drawings we saw, it was good of you and Mrs Kitson to extend such a hearty welcome to two strange women! May we have the pleasure some day of seeing you both here is all I can say.

    descended in buckets to the great refreshing of the face of the garden where the autumn's work can now be tackled.
    Excuse such a scrawl but I am writing on my lap after a heavy day's work rather than let the weekend pass without letting you know that the "Norwich Cath." has returned to the Bulwers.
