    Dear Mr. Kitson,
    I certainly should have written sooner to thank you for the photograph of Cotman's Byland if I had not been away from home when it arrived. I have only just now seen it on my return; I now send my thanks.
    It is especially interesting because it helps me understand the foreground of the picture I have. You muse certainly come with me to explore the ground with the aid of this photograph + my own
