    Dear Mr Kitson,
Ina is staying with me, & declares that I possess a Cotman more than I knew of. I have never felt sure that it is a Cotman, as it is not signed, but she feels very confident, & she assures me that you would be kindly willing to give your opinion

on it, some time when you are in town. She is staying with me till next Monday, so if you should happen to be in town this week it wwould be a pleasure to her was well as to me if you would spare time to come and see us & it. On Thursday (the 18th) we shall be in for dinner & should be so pleased if you would join us then, at 7.30. I'm afraid that's about

the only time I shall be in this week, which is rather a full one, but we wpi;d fix perhaps some other opportunities when you are in town - if Thurs. evening is no good - & of course I could easily bring the picture to Conduit St. one day if you are too busy to come all the way out here.
    Yours sincerely
    [M] Porter
