R.H. Kitson writes from Leeds on July 24 to say that Matthews & Brooke have a watercolour, 'very rich in colour, reddish brown, a fine composition, a little - not exactly faded - but dirtied - 175£.
This is the 'Buildwas Abbey' from the Brocklebank Collection, put up at Christies in July 1927 & withdrawn @ 75 guineas. Came up again at Christies 4.6.'28. 9 x 14½
