paper & Boswell had a pupil's copy in 1927.
Hardie also had on offer an unimportant pencil drawing 8½ x 11½ 'Gunton Park. Cotman. 2930' in which the stile appears on left.
Noted among the Constable sketches an oil study of ploughs 'Nov: 2 1814': also a ditto of a cart & 2 horses in tandem, the leader turned to left as in JSC's 'Mishap' - dated Oct 24. 1814 -
