Dear Mr Kitson,
Please forgive me for not acknowledging your letter before as I have been away and did not receive it until my return. I am very pleased and interested to have it and I have filed the particulars on the Register card of our own Cotman drawing.
I remember Mr Marsh's drawing at the Cotman exhibition (if that one was Mr Marsh's), and I remember that the drawing which we lent also aroused their interest as it definitely named the other one without the Minster towers in the composition.
Thank you so much for your kind promise to send me a photograph of Mr Marsh's example, and I am wondering if it would be too much to ask for a reproduction
