My dear Kitson
I was away for a couple of days when your letter came & then I have been out at night, or I should have thanked you before for sending me the photographs of your discovery and the new note of a Sketching Society evening. It certainly looks to me as if you have got hold of a new view of the York tower; even the gatehouse building looks similar though in that case the scenery must have been a bit 'faked'. I congratulate you on the acquisition. Will you also add the Sketching Society drawing to your many?
I return the Whitworth photograph & very gladly keep the other two. Thank you very much.
