London, W.11.
29th January 1937.
Dear Kitson,
That is a very pleasant, happy and amusing surprise you presented us with in "The Illustrated London News". I hope some day to see the actual results.
The Colmans are having an exciting time in South Africa, and I am wondering whether it is in your mind to wait until their return before the foreword to the Catalogue sees the light of day. If this is not necessary, I would be very glad to know the space I have to allow, and, of course, if you would like to send it for me to read I should be honoured and charmed.
Yours ever
S. Kennedy North.
P.S. Should you be illustrating any of the Colman drawings in your book, I wish you would let me know what you are doing, so that I may insert the fact that you have done so in the new Catalogue.
Title of book of course please.
