being lighter and more like that of my great grandmother's, Englefield's sister. The date is the same as that of the museum portrait and I should hazard a guess that the museum portrait was drawn as as second thought to give to young Francis, who was then living with family and about 21 years old.
I hasten to write this correction before you make any error in publication. The portrait is most certainly Sir H. Englefield.
When are you coming to see us. I hope you won't pass us over this summer? We have just scrapped our Baby Austin for a four seater, so I can take you over the moors now. We are generally very full with guests this month, so let me know as soon as you can as I very much want you to come.
