    Crown Point,
    Norwich.
    April 27th, 1936.

    Dear Mr Kitson,

I am writing to tell you that Mr Kennedy North of 31, Ladbroke Grove, London W 11, would very much value an opportunity of coming to see you at some convenient time if this will be possible for you.
I think you know that Kennedy North has had all my John Sell Cotman's drawings under treatment, and they have almost without exception responded marvellously.
He has therefore gained a very intimate knowledge of these drawings and is specially interested in John Sell Cotman's work, and is anxious to have the pleasure of discussing one or two points with you.
I promised him that I would write introducing him to you, and I am telling him now that I have fulfilled my promise and have written to you so that probably before long you may hear from him direct.
I hope you are feeling stronger, and with kind remembrances,
    I remain,
    Yours sincerely,
    Russell J Colman
