appoints me every time. These omnibus shows are horrible & in this case the paintings really aren't good & they are badly shown.
I have some 10 days or so of leave to use up & I am going to Oxford where Parker wants me to look thro' his English drawing, Herefordshire & if he will have me Dyson Perring at Malvern. On the 28th I have to give a lecture to our Winchester friends. Slide collecting is a nuisance. The Courtauld has some & is ready to make more. I am trying an experiment with amateur Leica films.
You are I'm afraid having bad weather. Here it is horrid. I expect that Thornbury Ho[use] is solitary above a collapsed suburb of Kidlington. But the country must look well under flood.
