As to the Oxford Press, I could do you a sniff would break the windows.
Mrs Barker will give you carte blanche to publish from her Cotman letters, I am sure. I have been so inattentive a gallant, through no fault of my own, that I fear as to me she won't be wholly fancy free. If after all some lingering sentiment should make her remember my ancient claims of [?] let me know and I will write renouncing them.
P.M.T. [Percy Moore Turner] didn't offer me a photo of the latest addition to Crown Point when I met him the other day, but at least he answered a direct question, which he has never done before! I think the picture must be more of a curiosity than a work of imagination.
I may be out Barnes way on Saturday. If so I will look at Mr Dawson's house. I fear, I greatly fear, I may endorse the proper verdict.
Many thanks for thinking of it. Yours H.I.K.
