    Dear Mr. Kitson,
You will I know be very pleased to hear that the Art Gallery has just received the gift of a beautifully fresh Cotman water colour drawing. The subject is "A Castle in Normandy" and it is a glorious riot of blue and yellow. The drawing itself was mounted on a very poor piece of card which has now been removed but I thought it might interest you to know that the number 13 appears in the corner of the mount also the sum 4 Gs.
    Yours sincerely
    Frank Leney
    Curator.
