    134 A volume bound in red morocco entitled "Collection of Original Portraits, 1819," being 47 subjects in pencil, black chalk and water-colour, of a number of contemporary persons including J. S. Cotman*, Sir H. C. Englefield, B.R. Haydon, Professor Lamauroux, Talma, numerous members of the Turner family, etc., by or attributed to J.C.Cotman, R.R. Reinagle, B. R. Haydon, Ozias Humphrey, etc., several signed
    135 A similar volume bound in red morocco, entitled "Collection of Original Portraits, 1825," containing a series of some 67 drawings of a number of contemporary portraits, including the Marquis of Anglesey, Napoleon, Admiral Sir E. Codrington, Sir Charles Greville, Dr. Monro, Francis Palgrave, etc., by or attributed to F. Chantrey, P.A., A.S. Cotman, John Varley, etc., many signed and dated

    These 2 vols have the crest & initials of Dawson Turner stamped on the binding - Index of portraits with names of artists at the beginning of lot 134 & at the end of lot 135.
