    Inspected the following drawings 7.4.27.
    (1) 'Tower of the village church of St Maclou? signed & dated 18.7.18 Sepia (framed). very charming.
    (2) 'Remains of an ancient chapel in the Castle at Caen' 'sketch 1818. signed 'J.S.Cotman - 1819'- sepia framed - rather mechanical figures & foreground fine - etching.

    (3) 'Vatierville Church, near Neuchatel' 'J.S.Cotman. June 21 1818 - 1822' - sepia signed. N elevation sketch of a small Norman church. very attractive.
    {later note to right) bought by R.H.K
    (4) 'West doorway & window of the church of Hans [?] near Vologne' - 'J.S.Cotman Sept. 18.' sepia. unframed. unimportant - (10)
    (5) Perspective elevation of part of the nave of the Abbey Church of St Stephens at Caen' 'J.S.Cotman Aug. 9.18.' Very hard neo stone (1 word illegible)sepia unframed. (15) etching.
    (6) 2 'views of the Donjon of Chateau Gaillard - near Andelys.' pencil - slight wash - unframed (15)

    (11) Pencil drawing 'Charlton-July 28 1827.' observatory at Greenwich & view over London. This (1 word illegible) masterly drawing much damaged.
